Raising Awareness is so important. Kenya is one of the most corrupt nations in the world, escaping poverty is hard. Living standards in the slums is poor and many children receive no education or healthcare. By raising awareness we can begin to make a lasting change for the vulnerable children of Kawangware.

Make a donation
We are a small charity, run completely by volunteers and rely entirely on the generousity of donations and sponsors. 100% of all money raised goes directly to Kenya to help our 'Thunder' children. Please support us, a little goes a long way in Kenya and makes such a difference to the future of these children.
Donating is simple and secure through Just Giving. Make a single one-off donation or a regular monthly donation to support The Thunder Foundation.
FUNDRAISE FOR THUNDER
Fundraising is a great way to help Thunder. Not only is it a great way to raise money but also spread awareness of our charity. Maybe take part in a sponsored event - Run / Jog / Walk / Swim / Cycle for Thunder or hold a coffee morning / charity sale.

SPONSOR A CHILD / PROJECT
Sponsoring a child connects you with an individual child who desperately needs your help to build a lifelong friendship with this child, one that will alter the course of his or her life.
All our children our currently sponsored but please register your interest in case things change. We also often have sponsorship programs where you can help provide extra supllies or educational needs for our children
